Thanks Carter
I get on this thing and within minutes my head starts to clear. I start to see differently. When I finish riding, I'm smiling. So I grabbed my camera and did another favorite activity; photography. Thanks Carter. I'm enjoying this old bike immensely.
Taken with a Lensbaby composer and processed in Adobe Lightroom 2.3.
Briar Chapel Mountain Bike Trails
I'm doing some volunteer work for a local cycling advocacy group called Triangle Off Road Cyclists in the form of photo shoots to promote various trails, activities and people within the club.
They have been busy with a unique trail system commisioned by the developer of a large subdivision in Chatham county. As part of the draw for this neighborhood they wanted active mountain bike trails. TORC was contacted and with Bryan Stewart heading the project, trails are being built. They need volunteers in a big way! Check out http://www.torc-nc.org/home.shtml for more info on them. I'll be covering a variety of events for them and helping them on thier website.
The builder, Newland Communites, should be commended for putting cycling trails throughout their property.
couple days off
No phones, no computers, no chores... I took a few days off and did some riding in Virginia. A great time resting my brain and abusing my body.

Carter and I rode the entire New River Trail up and back for 114 miles in one day. I was beat. We also road some singletrack in the Galax area and finished up with some trails in Danville. Back to the beat now! If you're waiting on photos I'm hammering them out now.
Day 47 and 48 Photo a day
